Pure genius and The Fall.

This guy and Mick Khan take bass to another echelon. Probably the axe guitarist wouldn't allow such folk in their band. Led zeppelin had a part time bass though he was is worthy of note. This band is great . The kids today must be depressed when they go back in time to when life gave us proper music and real fun.. Theres no such thing as too much swagger

The date seems to be wrong. In 2004, Peter Hammil played at the Posthof on the 29th November. Other shows @Posthof: 16th January 2001, 20th January 2010.

I don't get why they couldn't have a bass player! Years earlier he would form a trio with Nic Potter and Stuart Gordon, but without a drummer...I often wonder if these "interesting" lineups are actual ideas that PH had, or if it's down to budget constraints. This band would've been killer with Nic Potter on it (and viceversa with the Room Temperature trio which could've been awesome with Manny Elias)

I would love to ask Barry about his distortion on Give Me Everything, it seems the growl plays into his timing. Superb funk he is generating oh my godd.
